In recent years, Mexico has become one of the world’s top luxury destinations, achieving accomplishments in architecture, gastronomy, and quality customer service. Currently, Mexico is positioned as the fastest growing market within the Latin American luxury sector. In 2013, the market increased by 13%, duplicating twice that of China. The Luxury Collection strategically seeks to select the best destinations to develop hotels and resorts offering authentic experiences that merge with unique landscapes and rich cultural identities – such as Mexico. The hotel chain is soon to celebrate the opening of Solaz, a Luxury Collection Resort in Los Cabos, scheduled for March 2018.

The Presidential Suite features high level services designed exclusively for VIP guests and international celebrities. The main bathroom boasts a private pool, and a sensory rain shower with chromotherapy, aromatherapy, and steam vapor features.

The property highlights a collection of artworks created by Mexican artist César López Negrete, and in addition, an extraordinary museum which focuses on the natural history of Mexico and in particular, the Baja California Sur, featuring fossils and artifacts native to the peninsula including a suspended whale skeleton as the centerpiece. These artworks and the museum make for an intriguing partnership with the history of the brand, and reinforce the uniqueness of the development within Mexico.

Solaz will have six restaurants, notably “Al Pairo,” characterized by its seafood cuisine and design and exceptional wine collection. The hotel is also home to the Los Cabos Tennis Open presenting one of the most important social events in Mexico – the by invitation only opening party.

With an investment of $250 million dollars, Solaz is already considered as the number one luxury project in Los Cabos.  To date, of the 21 available residences, 45% of the inventory has already been sold.
