about ian judson

Ian was born in England and grew up in Canada living in many different places from Whitehorse in the Yukon Territory to St. John’s Newfoundland on Canada’s east coast. He finished high school in Summerside Prince Edward Island where he met his wife, Nancy. After marrying, they moved to Alberta and studied at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.

Ian’s professional career began after graduating as an Electronics Engineering Technologist. He spent the next eight years working as an engineering technologist for a multinational oil company. He then ventured out on his own and started an oilfield service company specializing in pipeline measurement. Teamed up with Nancy, who handled all aspects of accounting for the new venture, attention to detail and dedication to exceeding clients’ expectations, created a successful business which is still operating 30 years later.

In November of 2006, a desire to escape the often brutally cold Alberta winter brought Ian and Nancy to Los Cabos on vacation. The place just felt right from day one. The perfect  weather, snorkeling, mountain biking, friendly people and outdoor living was a huge attraction. They purchased a home in San José del Cabo before the vacation ended and in February of 2007 they moved here. They have never looked back.

Ian’s love for Los Cabos and appreciation for everything it has to offer makes it very easy to be a strong advocate for living here. Wanting to help others find their place in the sun is the natural outcome of his passion for this very special place. Ian decided to become a real estate advisor with Engel and Völkers Snell Real Estate where he can use the skills gained from 40 years of working with clients in the petroleum industry. It is an excellent place to continue working with people and to help them realize their dreams. He looks forward to helping you with your Los Cabos real estate goals regardless of what they may be.

"You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream."
