Engel & Völkers Exchange. It was a jam-packed and eventful week at this year’s Engel & Völkers Exchange (EVX) 2022 as more than 1,500 real estate advisors, license partners, and staff across the Americas region gathered at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach in early March.

For three days, attendees came together to network with new and long-established colleagues, gain inspiration and insights through keynotes and breakout sessions, and experience the official unveiling of the brand’s next era.

The highlight of the week, ultimately, was none other than the Awards Ceremony where Engel & Völkers Snell Real Estate was recognized as a top performer in 2022 claiming the #7 spot for Top Shops by GCI (Gross Commissions Income).
Additionally, Vanessa Fukunaga, Owner & CEO of Los Cabos brokerage, took home the award for #22 in Top Advisors by GCI.
A great achievement indeed that spotlights the AWARD-WINNING TEAM among hundreds of brokerages across the Americas region.

DAY ONE.
The Engel & Völkers Private Office is an exclusive community providing exclusive and discreet services to support ultra-high net worth clients interested in selling or buying ultra-luxury level properties. Only around 300 license partners from around the world have achieved this designation, including Vanessa Fukunaga who is proud to bring this level of service assisting the most qualified buyers in the world to find their piece of paradise in Los Cabos.
At the renowned Scarpetta restaurant, Private Office advisors enjoyed a beautiful dinner and ceremony welcoming new inductees.
Joined by Engel & Völkers global CEO Sven Odia and Americas President and CEO Anthony Hitt, the evening was a one-of-a-kind opportunity to network with the highest caliber of industry professionals.
DAY TWO.
Day two at EVX began with an action-packed day on the main stage and a series of integrated learning sessions. This was followed by the opportunity to hear from senior leadership on the exciting NEW BRAND IDENTITY for Engel & Völkers.
The discussion was based on how this “brand refinement is pivotal for Engel & Völkers’ continued leadership in the real estate industry—positioning our people, places, and properties for success.”

The dinner and White Party followed in the evening hours on Fontainebleau’s poolside grounds for opening night. Attendees enjoyed a variety of food and drinks, complete with music and dancing on the terrace. The elegant ambiance and sunset backdrop made for the perfect photo moments and an opportunity to connect with colleagues across the US, Canada, and around the world.
DAY THREE.
EVX wrapped up its third and final day of the conference with a series of RED talks (think TED talks, but with a fun and creative spin on real estate), a series of topically-focused breakout sessions, and the undeniable high point of the day—world famous keynote speaker, Diana Nyad.
Nyad moved the audience sharing her story of unwavering commitment to become the first person to swim from Cuba to Florida at the age of 64. With a touch of humor and raw emotion, Nyad brought audience members to their feet for a standing ovation.
Awards Ceremony
The evening commenced with a three-course dinner in the grand ballroom of the Fontainebleau. Then, as a celebration of the hard-working individuals, teams, and shops, the Awards Ceremony followed.
It was a moment in time for the Los Cabos shop to win not only the #7 spot for Top Shops by GCI but also the position of #22 in Top Advisors by GCI for leading powerhouse Vanessa Fukunaga.
These exceptional accomplishments only further affirm Engel & Völkers Snell Real Estate as the number one choice for buying and selling luxury real estate in the Baja California Sur market.
Topping the night off, guests continued the celebrations at the acclaimed Engel & Völkers After Party hosted by LIV Nightclub.
What’s Next?
The tenth annual EVX was a truly unforgettable experience and served as a reminder there is a level of pride, prestige, and strength that comes with Engel & Völkers, as both an organization and a brand. This year, with Engel & Völkers Snell Real Estate receiving TOP REAL ESTATE INDUSTRY EXCELLENCE, the team returned feeling inspired and recharged for the year ahead.
EVX 2023 is now scheduled for March 4-6, 2024 in Las Vegas. This impactful event will continue to take the global network to even greater heights.
